Orion Coffee and Tea is coffee shop in southwest Ohio

Orion Coffee and Tea hired me to design their brand and a full packaging system for their product line. They had already decided on their name, inspired by the Orion constellation, but they did not have a clear vision for the brand beyond a general space theme. I worked with them to refine their brand vision, select a color palette, and determine a style direction before jumping into the logo ideation phase. Once the logo was selected and refined I moved on to building a brand language around it for use on the coffee bag packaging and product labels.

Packaging Design

Orion Coffee and Tea’s in-store products include, whole bean coffee, Keurig compatible coffee pods, loose leaf tea, and of course their to-go drink cups. All of these products required a packing system flexible enough to bring the products together under the brand, but also distinguish the different product categories and flavors.

The Coffee Shop

The brick and mortar coffee shop is where the Orion Coffee and Tea brand comes to life. It was very exciting to see my designs filling shelves and entering the world on every to-go cup of coffee sold.
